Michael Fragoso is a creative marketing and strategy consultant with 8+ years of international experience in the luxury lifestyle, hospitality, and event sectors. He is takes an anthropological approach to his work, using design thinking to observe and learn from the pulse of culture. His passion for entertainment, branding, and community have forged meaningful, genre-defining partnerships that last long beyond a flash in the pan; whether dreaming up partnerships for hospitality clients such as Marriott International, or creating digital launch strategies for luxury watch retailer Watches of Switzerland.
Based on his training in Design Management, Michael has a strong understanding of the modern day consumer, and believes that through carefully considered experiences, user-focused strategy, and implementation tactics that blend sustainability, locality, design, and technology - you can create fans for life. He has a particular knack for generating and sustaining meaningful programming and experiences throughout his career based on research, and thrives on connecting the dots.
His most recent role was as a contracted consultant for the Watches of Switzerland Group and Mayors Jewelers, with a focus on digital growth and luxury marketing initiatives. Within a year, he successfully launched their US digital media presence, using a strategic and visually stunning social media campaign to drive the most successful e-commerce month in the companies’ history, resulting in a 200% increase in online sales. He additionally supported the EVP of Marketing on 4 campaign launches across the United States, which included safe life events throughout the pandemic.
He is a graduate of the renowned Parsons the New School for Design, an urban gardener, Marie Kondo fan, proud LatinX member of the LGBTQI+ community, budding chef, tea aficionado, and yoga lover. When not hard at work, he can be found snapping travel photos on his trusty Leica around the globe with his husband.
